Clara’s Teacher Mrs. Monson: Clara exemplifies our school motto, which is to show kindness, respect and integrity. Here are a few examples of what I have seen in the short week that I have known her. Clara showed up on the very first day with a homemade card that expressed her excitement for the upcoming year. She compliments and encourages classmates, tidies up the classroom, takes her recess to write kindness cards to others, and pushes thinking by asking, “What makes you say that?” I’m grateful to her in my class this year!”
