Abigail & Genevieve Students of the Month

abigail and GenevieveAbigail & Genevieve
who train at our GVCC Dojo. To receive this award students demonstrate outstanding character in Trustworthiness Responsibility, Caring Fairness & Respect.

Proud parents Paul & Teresa: “When Abigail was born, she came out smiling. She has always had a cheery personality and makes friends easily. Four years later, she welcomed her little sister, Genevieve, into the world with a smile. While both girls have their own personalities and sometimes do not agree on things, they usually can work things out. Karate has made a great deal of difference in their lives. they  may be separated by four years, but they love to work together on their karate moves, katas, and punching the heavy bag. Both girls excel in everything they do. Genevieve skipped kindergarten and within a few months was at the top of her 1st grade class. Both were chosen as mentors for the peers in their classrooms last year. Abigail and Genevieve enjoy working and playing with special needs children. They also like to go to their mother’s work and help entertain the elderly people who live there. Both girls are so kind and friendly; they are always willing to help others. Karate is giving them the opportunity to help each other, learn and grow, and become better people. They each leave practice with smiles on their faces, and then they bring that positive energy home and spread their cheer to others. They both look forward to excelling in Karate. Teresa and I could not be happier with Brian Jordan’s program at GVCC.”

Congratulations Abigail and Genevieve!
