Eleanor Lemon who trains at our GVCC Dojo. To receive this award students demonstrate outstanding character in Trustworthiness Responsibility, Caring Fairness & Respect.
Proud Parents Dale and Sandra: Eleanor doesn’t have to work too hard to make us proud, but she usually does anyway. At home, she is always anxious to help with chores and cooking dinner, always kind enough to share with her little brother (even her most special treats), compassionate, caring and empathetic. She is quick to help her friends achieve their goals, even when that means not winning or being first. She is understanding and usually patient, like when she fell asleep on top of our suitcases while waiting for nearly three hours for us to get re-ticketed at the airport. Eleanor has a talent for art, and the focus to keep at a drawing for hours when there is time. She enjoys school and learning to the point that not having homework is a disappointment. She also enjoys ballet and swim lessons, but it has been karate that has given her courage and discipline. We are very proud of Eleanor! Great job!
Congratulations Eleanor!
