Juan Carlos Contreras
who trains at our GVCC Dojo. To receive this award students demonstrate outstanding character in Trustworthiness Responsibility, Caring Fairness & Respect.
Proud Parents Juan Carlos & Sylvia “Juan Carlos joined South Coast Karate on October 2010 at the age of 4 and since then, he has enjoyed every class he has attended. He has high respect for his instructors Sensei Brian and Sensei Anthony and he sees them as role models. In the last couple of years, we’ve seen Carlos grow as a person and be more disciplined in all aspects and undoubtedly, Karate has played a big role on this part of his growing. Besides Karate, he also likes to play soccer.
Carlos is a very friendly child. He likes to make friends everywhere he goes. At school, he can name every child in his classroom. His favorite class is math. At his short age, he is very responsible with his school assignments. He loves his sister and his parents.
He is a very honest and respectful child and we are very proud of him. When he grows up, he wants to be a black Ninja but he also wants to be a police man.
Thank you Sensei Brian and Sensei Anthony for your hard work and dedication.”
Kellog School Teacher: Ilene Dietrich “Carlos has become more focused in class. He always tries his best, working with a good attitude! He has real good self control now as well! Carlos is willing to help others when asked, and also offers help on his own! I have enjoyed having him as a student!”
Congratulations Carlos!
Your Proud Sensei
