Kyra & James Student of the Month

Proud Parents JD & Melissa: “Kayra really loves to stand up for what is right. She’s great at holding her ground when it comes to arguing points. As a result, we have convinced her that she will make a great lawyer one day, she wants to defend the planet. She’s in 5th grade at Foothill Elementary. Her main sport is Karate, but she also knows how to ride a motorcycle! Her hobbies include art, writing, gardening, karate, and sculpting. She is a published author! Her and a group of fellow foothill peers wrote a book all on their own, called ‘The Girls’. It is currently gaining traction on Amazon as a best seller! Ok maybe just in our minds, but it’s out there, on amazon that is! 😉  They are currently working on a sequel. She can read sooooo fast. Her favorite food is sushi. Now we just need to teach her how to fish! (sushi’s expensive!)”

 

James really loves to create. He’s destined to be an engineer. Since he received his first lego set he’s been non-stop building, creating, and inventing. All he wants for his birthdays and holidays is Lego. He’s a sweet kid that loves to ride his bicycle without hands, jump his bicycle, climb steep hills, he really loves to mountain bike with his Dad. His favorite food is chicken. He eats it all, down to the bones! He started riding his dirtbike at age 4 and is known to help his Dad turn wrenches in the garage.”
