Proud Mom Noelle: “Rex in Latin means king. This kid is a King to me. He has the strength and power to be a leader with the compassion and kindness to meet other’s needs. I am proud of Rex and his commitment to Karate. He has grown as a person through this discipline. I look forward to seeing where this takes him.
Proud Dad Dick: “Rex, you are the man, dude. I’m really, really proud of you. You know how much I like karate as a great source of discipline and commitment. I love the fact that you have an orange belt, which you know is, by far, my favorite color. It’s especially cool that you’re getting this on your birthday, so here’s to many more!”
Teacher Ryan Long: “Rex is innately curious, which makes him a fantastic problem solver. He thinks deeply about issues big and small, ranging from finding the area of a triangle to finding a way to prevent asteroids colliding with Earth. Before taking action, he asks many thoughtful questions to be sure that he has all of the necessary information. Once he has a plan of attack, he approaches each task at hand with confidence. I imagine Rex will do big things!
here’s to many more!”
It has been a pleasure to have Rex back in class and set a new South Coast Karate record taking karate 20 days in a 25 day period!
Congratulations Rex and Happy Birthday!
