Proud Parents Astrid & Kevin: “Aiden has been a student of Sensei Brian and a member of South Coast Karate since 2018. One of Aiden’s primary goals is to become a black belt in Karate. His focus and commitment is visually expressed in his growing “Jedi Padawan” braid which he will cut off when he achieves his goal. Recently achieving the rank of purple belt, Aiden has embraced Sensei’s vision of “Making a difference every day”. Not only a big help around the house to his mom and dad doing his daily chores, Aiden has the primary responsibility of taking care of both his border collie Sully and his cat Elena. A self-described “nerd”, Aiden’s curious intellect and passion to understand the world around him has engaged in a myriad of pursuits. In addition to Karate, he’s a student of the piano, an avid skate boarder, skier and mountain biker and embraces the California lifestyle by learning to both surf and sail as well. When not in the dojo or helping mom and dad, he can often be found at the beach. Mom and Dad are proud of Aiden’s achievements at South Coast Karate and look forward to continuing to cheer him on in his quest for his black belt under Sensei Brian.”
